MO Audio Engineer - Brand

Michael Osborne is an audio engineer based in Leeds. He required help defining his brand, culminating in the creation of a logo suite, stationary and website design.

The monospace font reflects the technical and precise nature of audio engineering, and also creates a satisfying lock up as the first and second name have an equal number of letters. I utilised an atmospheric colour palette with a brooding purple-blue, coupled with a vibrant pop of pink to add energy to the brand, and convey the life within sound and music.
The logo marque is a nod to the sound bars frequently seen within the realms of sound and audio, but with an added twist as it also incorporates the M and O of the client's name. The symmetrical nature of the bars in the marque is a reflection of the client's ordered and methodical approach to his work.

The patterns are drawn from visualisations of audio, such as soundwaves, to convey the flow of a piece of sound or music, and adds a more dynamic vibe to the brand. The close crop creates an interesting abstract backdrop to use across all brand output.
I developed a simple one page website with a navigation bar that jumps to each relevant section. The site has many dynamic/interactive elements, such as an embedded audio player, pop-out overlays on the film showreel to show extra content, and a slider featuring multiple testimonials on rotation.
